Tian Tan Buddha

Tian Tan Buddha is a huge 34 meter tall sitting buddha statue. You could reach the bottom and look at the statue or else climb up 268 steps to see the statue from up close and also get to see the other smaller statues making offering to the Buddha statue.
Enjoy the beautiful views while taking the amazing cable car journey to get there. As you get closer you can try and spot the statue from the cable car journey itself.
You could visit the outside of the Buddha free of charge. However there is a charge to go inside

Getting there

Take the MTR to Tung Chung Station and then from there take the Ngong Ping Cable Car from the cable car station

Timings

Tian Tan Big Buddha 10:00am to 5:30pm
Po Lin Monastery 8:00am to 6:00pm
